For my first post, I respond to the question, "Have you ever been in a situation in which you were stretched to your own limits of performance or endurance?".
As the answer of this question, I could refer to a qualifying competition of the best soccer players in Shiga. In the competition, about 20 players were selected from all of the players of the same age as the players representing Shiga.
I went to the competition with my teammates and surprised first to see too many players who were coming to the competition. Then, I was convinced that I had to perform as hard as possible in order to be selected as the representative player of Shiga. Although I was tense before the competition, I was able to do my best and succeeded to perform in it. As a result, I was able to be selected as the player representing Shiga.
What did help me get through this competition?
Self-confidence. Trying to be confident during my performance. Thinking of myself as the best player who are deserves to be selected as the representative player.
Optimism. Trying hard to believe that I can take another chance when I have made mistakes in the soccer game. Having a positive attitude must help me do a good performance.
Good communication. Creating good communication with other players of my team. Even though they are also my rival actually, I have to keep good communication with them and try to score goals in the game.
From my experience, these qualities were needed to be succeed in the competition. Moreover, I am sure that these are essential qualities to get though a difficult situation outside of the soccer field.
